Location, Classes, & Instructors
Take the driveway to the left of the Temple – park in the back.
Go up the stairs and enter the Temple.
Go left to play, right to pray.
Class Schedule
Aikido of Monterey does not currently have a children’s program. Our apologies.
Adults
- Tuesday evenings – 6:00 to 7:00
- Saturday mornings – 9:00 to 10:00

Our Instructors
Mitch Johnson
Mitch is a student of Danielle Smith Shihan. He began his training at Aikido of Monterey in 1989. He received the rank of Godan in 2013.
Nick Mullins
Nick Mullins trained for fourteen years at Aikido of Santa Cruz before coming to Aikido of Monterey. He received his Nidan in 2017.
Ernest Stromberg
Ernest is a professor in the School of Humanities and Communication at California State University Monterey Bay. He holds the rank of Nidan.
